uShaka Marine World’s Cargo Hold Restaurant became the centre of attention on June 25th, when it was recognised and awarded what many food & beverage professionals deem a once-in-a-life-time achievement.
Presenting the award were representatives from the Bailli and Bailliage Committee, who handed over the BLAZON brass plaque to Executive Chef Warren Frantz and Food & Beverage Executive, Abel Mokoena, from uShaka Marine World!
Taking place at the Chaȋne des Rôtisseurs’ Annual General Meeting and Grand Chapitre, at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton, the prestigious plaque is uniquely awarded to a food and/or beverage professional who is either the executive chef of an establishment or, a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
This plaque is only issued to that of a dining establishment that continuously maintains a superb level of cuisine, service and hospitality which is required by the high international standards set by Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
With over 25,000 members, the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, an International Association of Gastronomy, is well established in over 80 countries.
Well done to our very own Cargo Hold Restaurant!
